Statistical research

To cement the moral of our short film in our audience's minds, we thought we could include statistics at the end of the piece. This will remind our audience of the purpose of our short film; to raise awareness about the effect of cyberbullying.

Here are some websites that we have searched through to find facts and figures.

We took a few statistics from these websites that we will quote at the end of our short film, avoiding any issues with copyright and plagiarism.

  • 'Approximately 160,000 teens reportedly skip school every day because they are bullied, and 1 in 10 teens drop out of school due to repeated bullying.'
  • 'More than half of teens have witnessed cyberbullying on social media and don't say anything about it.'
  • '1 in 6 parents know their child has been bullied via a social networking site.'
  • '30 percent of victims have turned to self-harming behaviours, which has increased by 6 percent from 2013.'
